Neurofeedback is a type of biofeedback that uses real-time measurements of brain activity to help individuals learn to control their brain wave patterns. This can be beneficial for various conditions, including: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Anxiety, Depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Epilepsy. How It Works: Electrodes are placed on the scalp to measure brain activity. The measured brain waves are displayed on a computer screen. The individual is given real-time feedback about their brain activity. They are encouraged to change their brain waves in a desired direction, such as relaxing or focusing. Over time, the brain learns to regulate itself more effectively. Benefits: Can improve cognitive and emotional regulation, Reduces stress and anxiety, May help manage symptoms of certain conditions, and Non-invasive and safe.
