While both Brainspotting and EMDR are used to treat trauma, they differ in their approach

Brainspotting is a focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing, and releasing the neurophysiological sources of emotional and physical pain, trauma, and other challenging symptoms. It's a technique that locates, focuses, processes, and releases experiences that may be out of reach of the conscious mind and its cognitive and language capacity. Essentially, it uses eye positions to access and release stored emotional pain, similar to "unlocking a trauma capsule".
